Have you at one time saved very important documents or files in your flash drive but when you try to open in another PC you find that the files are missing? well, you need not worry much because probably the files are still there and a virus has hidden. Better still, there is a solution to recovering your files. Here is the solution:
One, Insert the flash drive into an a USB slot, and identify the drive (i.e. the drive letter such as E, F, H, etc.
Two, Go to the DOS console, or rather press the following buttons together: Windows + R.
At the text box type 'cmd' and press 'OK'.
Three, At the command line, type this command; attrib -s -h -r f:/*.* /s /d
Four, Press Enter for the command to clear the virus.
Five, When the execution is over, Open the Flash drive and your files should be visible
Note: this can work on any other drive
